FAQ

Who can report something?
Any person may contact the Reporting Office.
What can I report?
You can report any form of human rights abuse in connection with any UEFA event, e.g. discrimination, harassment, sexualised violence, security risks, violent confrontations, poor working conditions, data protection risks or restrictions on the freedom of the press.
When can I report something?
The reporting office can be reached via a digital reporting channel – one day before, during, and one day after the event.
Do I have to give my name?
We will treat your report confidentially. If you disclose your name, we will also treat your identity confidentially. You can also contact us anonymously and not disclose your name.
What happens after a report?
You will receive a confirmation of receipt with an access and PIN code for an electronic mailbox immediately after your report. You can use this electronic mailbox to chat with us after your report and ask/answer questions. This also works for anonymous reports. We will review your report and take the first steps within 48 hours. In the event of an emergency or dangerous situation, please call the police or fire department directly If we need help from external organisations (e.g. security forces or police), we will ask you whether we are allowed to pass on your report to these external organisations. We will inform you about the measures we are taking. For this information and for possible enquiries from us – even for anonymous reports – it is necessary that you continue to have access to your report. You will need your credentials for this.
I want to check the status of my report, but I have forgotten my access credentials. What can I do?
Please submit the report again adding a reference to your first report.
Who provides the Reporting Office?
UEFA provides the Reporting Office, but does not have access to the reports. The reports are sent exclusively to the law firm “Rettenmaier” in Frankfurt am Main, Germany, https://www.rettenmaier-frankfurt.de. The technical system ensures that nobody else – not even the technology provider Trusty – can view the reports.
Where can I seek help?
We follow a trauma-informed approach, but we are not a support organisation. However, we may be able to assist you in finding an appropriate contact.
